Terms of Use

Effective September 17, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Vetellex websites, mobile applications and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services for a clinic or organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

1. Purpose of the Services

Vetellex provides operational tools intended to support veterinary clinic workflows, including patient flow, treatment worklists, cage-card documentation, staff tasks, scheduling, communication and related records. The Services may supplement, but do not replace, a clinic’s practice-management system, medical record, emergency procedures or professional judgment.

2. Eligibility and account approval

You must provide accurate information, select the correct clinic and maintain the confidentiality of your credentials. Accounts may require email verification and approval by a clinic administrator. Access is limited by assigned role. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and must promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

3. Authorized use

You may use the Services only for legitimate clinic operations and in accordance with your clinic’s policies and applicable law. You may not:

  • Access another clinic’s information without authorization.
  • Share credentials or attempt to bypass access controls.
  • Introduce malicious code, disrupt the Services, probe for vulnerabilities or misuse application interfaces.
  • Use the Services for unlawful, deceptive, harassing or infringing activity.
  • Copy, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the Services except as permitted by law or written authorization.

4. Clinical responsibility

Vetellex does not provide veterinary advice. Licensed veterinary professionals and clinic personnel remain solely responsible for patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment decisions, medication orders, monitoring, documentation and emergency response. Alerts, schedules and calculations must be independently reviewed before clinical reliance.

5. Clinic data and user content

Clinics and users retain their rights in information they submit. You grant Vetellex the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, back up and display that information to operate and improve the Services. You represent that you have authority to submit the information and make it available to authorized users.

6. Availability and changes

We work to provide reliable Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, third-party outages, network conditions and security events may affect availability. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features and may provide notice when reasonably practical.

7. Notifications

The Services may send transactional email, in-app messages and push notifications concerning accounts and clinic operations. Delivery can be delayed or prevented by networks, device settings and third-party providers. Notifications should not be the clinic’s only method for communicating emergencies or time-critical clinical instructions.

8. Intellectual property

Vetellex and its software, branding, interface, documentation and original content are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Services under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

9. Suspension and termination

We or a clinic administrator may suspend or terminate access when an account is inactive, unauthorized, presents a security risk, violates these Terms or is no longer associated with the clinic. Records may be retained when necessary for clinic operations, audit requirements, dispute resolution or legal compliance.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Vetellex disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will meet every clinic requirement or that all errors will be corrected.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vetellex will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of profits or interruption of business arising from use of or inability to use the Services. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. Continued use after an updated effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.

13. Contact
